It is necessary to rethink and work with things that are more timeless and of quality. Just look at all these prestigious fashion houses that are successful today – they create quality products.
Custom-made couture allows for close monitoring of the product, which has become essential for the fashion industry.
Julie de Libran's creative process
Creativity is a key element in Julie de Libran's work. She creates pieces with versatile uses, adding or removing elements to create different lengths or ways of wearing them. According to her, a good dress should be timeless, of high quality, and able to be worn in different ways to create a unique silhouette.
Julie de Libran's advice to young fashion designers
Julie de Libran's journey has taught her that success comes with hard work. Before becoming a creative director, it's important to take the time to educate oneself and learn the ins and outs of the fashion industry.
If I could give advice to young people, it would be to work hard to achieve something. I have often been asked, "Why didn't you do this earlier?" I believe that hard work is necessary for all professions. But before declaring oneself as a creative director, I think it's important to undergo a certain period of learning and apprenticeship.
Julie de Libran followed her dream.
